My Story
Hello. My name is Gaetano Marini, and everyone calls me Guy.
I am an author, business consultant, and public speaker. I offer advisory and coaching services to business leaders, and I help people in grief through one-on-one counseling with adults and grief workshops for children.
I’m the author of The 6R Method to Enhancing Employee Experience, a how-to book for middle and small market business leaders; the Super Nonno children’s books series; and Grieving Through A Magical Celebration of Life, a grief support book for adults featuring reflections, poetry, and an alternative way to commemorate the life of a loved one after their passing.
A 30+ year veteran of business, I led a 600-person, multinational manufacturing company called NEPTCO Inc. to $120 million in revenue with consistently high employee satisfaction scores. Our company engineered materials used in the production of cable and electronic packaging products, and we were known for innovation and customer service. The company was purchased by Chase Corp. in June of 2012.
Born in Boston, I attended Boston College and Boston Latin School. I met my late wife, Mary Lee (M.L.), when we were teenagers, and we raised our three children in Rhode Island. M.L. was very sick for her last few years of life, and I left work to care for her. She passed away in 2020 shortly before the start of the pandemic. While caring for her, I started writing books.
I spend every minute possible with my three children and two grandchildren. They are my comfort and joy.
